Once Lord Harold Samuel said “There are three things that matter in property: location, location, location” and when it comes to this hotel… mission accomplished!
Located less than 5min walking distance from the Munich Main train station this exquisite hotel is an authentic cosmopolitan temple.
With high ceiling, the entrance of the hotel gives you a touch and sense of royalty, The employees speak several languages making it easy to communicate. The room chosen was the “Luxury Room” and it was just fantastic except (and this is a big except) for the view.
One thing you can say about the room is: it’s all about details, and we just love details.
An elegant working desk sets the tone for the room design where a big bed occupies most of the bedroom. If we think about other hotels that we have seen so far the bedroom itself was not that big, but there was still a place for a comfortable sofa seated between a Nespresso machine including free coffee and the TV desk. The last was well placed, with a horizontal moving support, allowing to see TV both in the bedroom and in the bathroom while you are relaxing in the very inviting bathtub. In the big bathroom you can choose between the large tub and the high quality shower. Separating the bedroom from the bathroom is again a window (is becoming popular) but the privacy is still maintained thanks to a shutter.
The spa was included in the price and what a spa! With a big pool, sauna, relaxation room and Turkish bath all for free we were able to really relax after a day of visiting the astonishing Munich.
Since we like to give a feedback about all the things the hotel provides we decided to have a taste in the morning breakfast. This quite expensive buffet costs more than 30e per person per day so we were a bit reluctant in going. The verdict was simple: the food was really good, very diverse and the staff very thoughtful and competent but it is not worth 31e.
To wrap things up: the negative thing about this stay was the view – for the price paid we were expecting more. Besides that, this amazingly located hotel is one of the best interior designed room we visited, with the felling that we would love to take every furniture to our own home. The staff was nice and the spa complete and relaxing. The experience is, without a doubt, to be repeated.
